SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting - International Paper Recycling
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow Chamber Members\, Ambassadors\, and Chamber Staff as we celebrate International Paper's expanded recylcing facility. International Paper is pleased to announce the grand opening of its expanded\, state-of-the-art recycling facility\, Twin Cities Enterprise Recycling Plant. The new 200\,000 square-foot facility is designed to sort\, bale and load recycling material quickly and efficiently. It will provide recycling services to all segments of the local community\, including the destruction of confidential documents for the businesses and citizens of the metro area. The new facility\, which is located at 2425 Terminal Road in Roseville\, Minn.\, is one of International Paper's 21 recycling plants across North America. IP's recycling business is one of North America's largest recyclers of recovered office paper and corrugated boxes. It collects\, consumes and markets more than 6 million tons of all paper recovered annually in the United States. The recovered paper is then used by the company's containerboard mills to create new paper products or is sold to other manufacturers across the globe.
