Employment Taxes and Employer Responsibilities Seminar

The Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership will hold a FREE seminar at the Minnesota WorkForce Center in Brooklyn Park for employers and their representatives interested in information on state and federal employment taxes and other employer responsibilities.

Taught by tax professionals from the IRS, Minnesota Department of Revenue, the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance Program, and the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association, the seminar will include information on worker status (independent contractor v. employee), tax withholding, depositing and reporting, labor standards, Workers’ Compensation insurance, new hire reporting rules, and Department of Homeland Security (immigration) requirements.
