Business Essentials Luncheon - Angel Investments
Pete Birkeland, CFO and Investment Manager of RAIN Source Capital, will be our speaker on January 21st. RAIN Source Capital is one of the largest angel investing networks in the US with 23 funds in 6 states and $20 million in committed capital in its funds. RAIN Source and its member funds have invested in over 75 early stage business across all industries in the past decade.
Pete will provide an overview of angel investing in the US, the role of angel investing in company formation, and why angel investing is going to be more prevalent in the next decade. If you are thinking about raising capital for a new business or becoming an angel investor, this is a meeting to attend.
Business Essentials Luncheons are open to all chamber members and prospective members. Format includes networking, a brief welcome wih announcements and the opportunity for all in attendance to introduce themselves and their company.
