Account Associate – Samantha Ferrell State Farm Agency Team Member
Do you enjoy helping people and building strong customer relationships? The Samantha Ferrell State Farm Agency is seeking a motivated Account Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our customers with their insurance and financial service needs, while working closely with our licensed team to deliver outstanding service and sales support. You must be willing to obtain your property & casualty and life & health license too, and we reimburse those payments for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and answer inbound calls/emails in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist with policy service needs including changes, endorsements, billing questions, and basic account updates
- Support account management for existing clients and help ensure policies remain current
- Educate customers on coverage options and help identify needs based on conversations and agency processes
- Follow up with leads and customer inquiries to support retention and growth
- Maintain accurate customer records in the agency management system
- Coordinate with the team to ensure timely processing of requests and documents
- Uphold excellent customer service standards and represent the agency positively in the community
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Sales support experience or comfort speaking with customers (insurance knowledge is a plus, not required)
- Ability to learn quickly and follow processes and compliance requirements
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and CRM/agency systems (training provided)
- Must be able to work collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to complete any required licensing
Preferred Skills
- Prior insurance, customer service, or administrative experience
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM or similar tools (or strong willingness to learn)
